In my therapy and supervision practice I prioritize clients who are BIPOC, including people of multiracial ancestry. Most of my clients are queer. Our brilliance, power, and love are deeply necessary. My practice is a contribution towards our healing.
My commitment as a therapist is to offer a significant contribution towards healing for racialized and politicized folks in Vancouver, so more of our wholeness, brilliance and leadership is available to impact our relationships and communities.
My commitment as a supervisor is also to use my embodied understanding of politicized somatic healing to support the development of politicized and queer practitioners. I primarily support BIPOC practitioners. I also support practitioners (including white practitioners) who focus their practices on working with folks who live with chronic illness and/or disability.
I have particular love for working with folks who live with chronic illness and/or disability, given my own life experience with chronic illness, and the role of the Disability Justice movement in my own healing.
