Introduction to Generative Somatics

 
 

Introduction to Generative Somatics is a 10 week course for practitioners interested in learning this methodology and deepening their skills in a small group setting. Limited to 8-10 participants per cohort, the small size of the group allows for a mixture of theory, discussion, and practice, as well as witnessing and feedback from the instructor.

The next cohort will meet Fridays 10am - 1pm March 14th, 2025 - May 16th, 2025, for a total of 10 weeks / 30 hours. Sessions will run online and in-person, at a location in East Vancouver.

Course curriculum will include:

  • Generative Somatics’ Theory of Change

  • Declarations

  • Embodied Consent

  • Blending with Safety Shape

  • Somatic Perception and Armouring Bands

  • Conflict as Generative

  • Lineage

  • Completions


During the 10 week course, participants will be supported to:

  • Deepen their own embodiment.

  • Practice and deepen their somatic perception.

  • Be introduced to or deepen their understanding of Generative Somatics’ Arc of Transformation and its relevance for healing and social change.

  • Witness and participate in demonstrations of somatic practices that forward healing and transformation along this arc; practice many of these with one another.

  • Have space to ask questions, and enjoy learning together.


Cost is $2100 per participant
($210 per 3 hour session).
